Food & Beverage Around the World
Food is inevitable, we need food to ensure our survival. The most beautiful thing about food and beverage is the many things that can be done. Every culture has their native foods and the things that are normal to them.
Everyone Loves Pretty Drinks

Next time you visit Nassau, Bahamas, be sure to make this one of the places on your list to visit. Island Delight, located Potter's Cay Dock under the Atlantis Bridge, is most famous for their pretty drinks which includes a mixture of spirits, cognacs, syrups all blended together and garnished with fruits and candy to entice the eye before the taste buds. These drinks are also crowd favorites for their unique names and vibrant colors. Aside from their pretty drinks, the restaurant/bar is also famous for its great music, mouth watering food, friendly staff and all around great vibe.
The "Magic Conch"

This tropical marine mollusk, has become a staple in the Bahamian Food and Beverage Industry as well as households across the Bahamas. The mollusk is cracked out of the shell and then later sliced and diced to make an array of dishes. Including, pictured above one of the most common and most famous dishes, Conch Salad. In addition, conch is cooked in many other ways including, cracked conch, stew conch, conch n rice and conch fritters. Once the conch is out of its shell, the shell itself is reused in many different ways like jewelry, musical instruments, as well as various decorative purposes. The many different colors present on the conch shell makes it a stand out in many art forms.

Pictured above is two other forms that Conch is prepared in. The left photo shows cracked conch, peas n rice, plantain, and macaroni. The right photo is also cracked conch but is commonly called "Conch Snack."
Puerto Rico 2017

In my 2017 trip to Puerto Rico, the food was the highlight of the trip. My sisters and I stayed at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa in San Juan, Puerto Rico. For the whole week we dined at various places around Puerto Rico along with partaking in other excursions and tourist activities. Pictured above, Seafood dinner with Lobster Tail, Rice and Beans, Garden Salad and a Seafood Sauce. Monfongo with Tilapia Fish and Green Salad. The last picture of a Chicken Empanada.
